Black and white photograph. "Burke's cottage, Diamond Park Resort, Green Lake, Interlochen." Found in a manila envelope marked, "Burke, Maple City." The Burke and Herbert families were from Maple City. There is no Leelanau Historical Museum photographic inventory sheet for this object. Unable to locate image in photo closet. "Every body works but father, he sits in his boat all day fishing for Bass in Green Lake, and smoking his pipe of clay. -Nit[?]" |
