Photograph of the ship, the City of Charlevoix. Northern Michigan Transportation owned her; she was then called the Champlain. Burned June 18, 1887, with heavy loss of life. She was then rebuilt and renamed City of Charlevoix, and later renamed Kansas, burning later in Manistee with a total loss. |
