He sold some of his possessions at auction, and moved to New York State. Some of the things sold were bought by Pastor John J. Maakestad of Suttons Bay. These books were taken to Virginia, then returned to Leland Library because of their age and origin. They may qualify as "Rare Books" " 1698-1979 |
