Photo Postcard. Unloading logs at Crescent, North Manitou Island. Shay Locomotive was purchased by Smith and Hull Lumber Co. to haul logs to their sawmill at the village of Crescent on the west side of North Manitou Island. They laid five miles of track at first, then added three more. Addressed to Henry Portner.
