2. Oval basket with handles. Oval base with tapered wicker-weave walls, folded at the top to create closure. Bands of dyed and braided sweetgrass weavers alternate with band of yellow, red and brown ash splints on the walls; brown weavers. Sweetgrass braids looped around the edge of the top. Pair of splint handles are wrapped with sweetgrass braids.
