    Postcard of Egbert Price repairing net. "Known as 'Dad''- born in England in the early 1800's. Came to Leland from Canada during the 1870's with his wife Anna Haynes. 'Dad' was 6'9" tall and boasted that it took the length of two axe handles to measure the width of his shoulders. They had five children, Alvin, Emma, Oscar, Warren, and an unidentified 5th child.
