3. Log Carrier. Cedar log with cast iron handle. Made of cedar log "ends" - slabs off the side of logs with bark attached. Tables and other pieces made from this kind of wood. From Gill and Thomas Bently Camp, 3551 N. Co. Rd. 641. Original built by W. R. Bridgeman (of Chicago) in 1881. Supposedly oldest camp in East Leland. Built as fishing camp with tent platforms and fire circle.
